Position Summary
Graphical User Interface software developer for multiple Windows platforms.
Job Functions
- Conceive, create, execute and develop Windows based programs to assist in the installation of SMI products.
- Develop Windows applications for internationalization / Non US Windows platforms.
- Develop Windows applications that use TCP/IP – serial communications.
Skills / Experience
- Experience with Visual Studio environment.
- Operational programming of communications using TCP/IP.
- Experience in Socket Programming.
- Operational programming of serial communications.
- Proficient in Windows .NET environment.
- 5+ years experience in Multi-Threaded programming.
- 2 years Microsoft Windows XP / 7 GUI programming experience.
- 1-2 years Graphical User-Interface drawing programming experience (optional).
Education
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science
Physical Demands
Ability to lift computer equipment weighing at least 25lbs and sit at a desktop using a computer for prolonged periods of time.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, regular position with benefits. Hours are M-F, 7:30am to 4:15pm. No relocation allowance for this postion.
