Southwest Microwave Appoints New Middle East Sales Manager and Establishes Regional Office

Southwest Microwave, Inc. is proud to announce the appointment of a new Middle East Sales Manager, Graeme Howes. With over 10 years of experience in this rapidly growing territory, Graeme brings a wealth of knowledge to this important region.  Based in Southwest Microwave's new regional office in Dubai, U.A.E., Graeme will oversee and serve the entire Middle East.

Before joining Southwest Microwave, Inc., Graeme was Business Development Manager for Gallagher Security Management Systems’ Middle Eastern and Asian markets.  Through Graeme’s efforts, Gallagher opened up many new markets in this territory by increasing exports to the perimeter protection sector.

While with Advanced Perimeter Systems, Ltd. (APS) as their Sales and Marketing Director, Graeme improved export performance by focusing on countries and territories ranging from Europe to the Far East.  During Graeme’s tenure, APS was awarded the prestigious ‘Exporter of the Year’ at the Security Industry Export Awards. 

With Graeme’s impressive export growth record, he was elected Chairman of the British Security Industry Association’s (BSIA) Export Council, a key position to those seeking markets for their products and services beyond the United Kingdom.  Prior to joining APS, Mr. Howes served 14 years in the Royal Air Force (RAF) Police, including a number of years in counter-intelligence operations.
