Class Description
A two-day certification course designed to provide the application, design and installation details necessary to ensure successful installation and operation of the MicroTrack™ buried cable detection system. Includes lecture and hands-on installation / operation of the system. Students will be tested prior to certification and must achieve a minimum grade of 70% to be certified.
Attendee Prerequisites
- Experience in the servicing of electronic security systems.
- Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Windows® operating system and personal computers.
Required Supplies
- Laptop PC with XP Pro, Vista, or Windows 7 operating system.
- db9 Serial Port or Serial Port / USB Adapter

DAY 1 – 8:00am to 4:30pm
- System Description and Basic Theory of Operation
- System Hardware and Design Issues
- Installation and Service Tool, System Software Setup Parameters
- Relay Control Module Configuration / Auxiliary Sensors Review
DAY 2 – 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Practical Application – Design and Setup of Actual Site
